Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth; the alternation of the day and the night; the ships that sail the sea for the benefit of humanity; the rain sent down by Allah from the skies, reviving the earth after its death; the scattering of all kinds of creatures throughout; the shifting of the winds; and the clouds drifting between the heavens and the earth — are surely signs for people of understanding. (―Quran 2:164)

If a man were to observe the constant operation of this universe, reflect on it in a manner befitting a rational being, and think about it without either stubbornness or bias, he would find sufficient signs to convince him that this gigantic system is absolutely subservient to the will of the Omnipotent and Wise Being, Who alone wields all power and authority. Moreover, this system seems to be such as to rule out all possibility of any interference from others whether independent of the Creator of the universe or in partnership with Him. Since this One True God is the Lord of all creation and none else is in possession of any power or authority, none is entitled to any share in His godhead or overlordship. We send down rain from the sky in a measured amount, causing it to soak into the earth. And We are surely able to take it away. And by means of this water We bring forth for you gardens of date-palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit, and from which you eat.
— Quran 23:18–19 (ponder over the words: in a measured amount)

and You see the earth dead and barren, but as soon as We send down rain upon it, it begins to stir and swell, producing every type of pleasant plant. That is because Allah is the Truth, He gives life to the dead, and He is Most Capable of everything. (— Quran 22:5–6)

Allah is the One Who sends the winds ushering in His mercy. When they bear heavy clouds, We drive them to a lifeless land and then cause rain to fall, producing every type of fruit. Similarly, We will bring the dead to life, so perhaps you will be mindful. (— Quran 7:57)

And We send down blessed rain from the sky, bringing forth gardens and grains for harvest, and towering palm trees with clustered fruit, as a provision for human beings; and by this water We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. (— Quran 50:9–11)

And among His signs is that you see the earth devoid of life, but as soon as We send down rain upon it, it begins to stir and swell. Indeed, the One Who revives it can easily revive the dead. He is certainly Most Capable of everything (―Quran 41:39)

Truly, Allah alone has knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Surely, Allah is all knowing, all-aware.
(— Quran 31:34)

It is Allah who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals]. He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. (— Quran 16:10–11)

It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and sends down rain from the sky, causing fruits to grow as a provision for you. (— Quran 14:32)

have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, we could’ve made it bitter, so why aren’t you grateful?. (— Quran 56:68–70)

Do you not see that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then piles them up in masses, then you see the rain coming from inside them? He also sends down hail from the clouds that look like mountains in the sky… (— Quran 24:43–44)

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, then the earth becomes green? Surely Allah is Most Subtle, All-Aware. (— Quran 22:63)

And Allah has sent down rain from the sky and given life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who listen. (— Quran 16:65)

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky with which We bring forth fruits of different colours? And in the mountains are streaks of varying shades of white, red, and raven black; Likewise, human beings, animals, and livestock come in various colors. Indeed, among His servants, those with knowledge are the ones who really fear Allah. Verily Allah is Most Mighty, Most Forgiving. (— Quran 35:27–28)

it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection. (— Quran 35:9)

And it is Allah who sends the winds, bringing advance news of His mercy; and We send down from the sky pure water. To revive dead lands thereby, and to provide drink for the multitude of animals and humans We created. (— Quran 25:48–49)

Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and produce thereby crops of which their cattle and they themselves eat? Will they not then see?. (— Quran 32:27)

Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? (— Quran 21:30)

if all your water were to sink deep into the earth who could give you flowing water in its place? (— Quran 67:30)

O people, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, so that you may become righteous. It is He Who has made for you the earth a resting place, the sky as a canopy, sends down rain from the sky, and brings out with it fruits as a provision for you. (— Quran 2:21–22)
